In-Person Autographs

Here are a couple of In-Person Autographs that I have in my collection.

1st is Janet Ann Gallow, Janet was the little girl in 'The Ghost of Frankenstein" (1942) which had Lon Chaney Jr. playing Frankenstein's Monster.  She was also in a few other roles including "It Ain't Hay" (1943) with Abbott & Costello.  I met Ms Gallow at a Monster Bash Convention, she was a very sweet and friendly lady.

Next is Beverly Garland, I met Ms Garland the first time at a Convention Virginia in 1999.  Ms Garland may be best known for her role in "My Three Sons" but she was also in "It Conquered The World" (1956), "Not of This Earth" (1957), "The Alligator People" (1959) with Lon Chaney Jr., and so many wonderful tv series and films.  Sadly she passed away December 5, 2008.  She was also a very friendly lady that seemed to love her fans.

Here is another In-Person Auto that I have, it is of Mr Bob Hastings. I had seen Mr Hastings many times at the Old Time Radio Convention in Ohio.  He is best remembered for his role as Lt. Carpenter in the original "McHale's Navy" Series, he was also the voice of Commissioner Gordon in the Batman Cartoons and many other small roles in films and tv and also voice work.  He was a very friendly man with a 'wacky' sence of humor.  Sadly he passed away on June 30, 2014 of cancer.  Shortly before he died I created a small montage of pics for him to sign, he like it and asked if I would send him some to his home, which I did (so if you happen to have a copy of this picture please let me know).

Well that is it for this post, I will be posting more as I can.  Hope you enjoy.

Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Autograph Blog.  I will be listing the Autographs I currently get TTM (Thru-The Mail) and also IP (In-person) and some times purchase.

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Jess and I live in the middle of Ohio.  I have been collecting Autographs on and off since 1995.  I also have a website called www.classicscreams.com, this site is dedicated to the memory of Classic Horror Films and People (Please take a look when you have time.)

This blog will be used to show the autographs that I get either TTM, IP of purchase.  I will show the address for the TTM's when possible.  I collect mostly celebrity (TV and film related people) I like to collect classic horror and character actors the most, but I also like the television programs of the 60's and 70's.  I am a music fan and collect music people when possible also.  There will also be some sports people.  I will also show some of the autographs I have collected over the years.
